Indian Hockey faces Insult after Glory at home

Indian Hockey has produced phenomenal players. It is believed that Adolf Hitler once broke the Hockey stick of an Indian player to check for magnets, sticks have been secretly replaced, and statues have been erected in their memory. Such was the show of the hockey players which paused the entire world. Each position in hockey has produced more than one legend that has made the country proud.
Much to the diappointment of the players, India’s national game saw insult and pittance both yesterday as the sports minister Ajay Maken offered a mere Rs 25,000 cash reward to each player, turning their glorious win in Asian Champions Trophy sour.  None of the players accepted that paltry amount saying it was not proper recognition of their achievement.
As soon as Indian players rejected Hockey India's unwelcome monetary offer, cash rewards trickled in for them today with the Sports Ministry announcing for more details....
